About the event

The 6th annual Cowtown Birthplace of Western Swing Festival brings the legends, the tradition, the legacy and the up-and-coming new artists of Western Swing to the cradle where it all began at National Hall in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dances take place at Historic National Hall Nov. 12-14, 2026 with 12 stellar bands. On Friday morning, November 13, we will take 10:30am morning buses from National Hall to the Ft. Worth Stockyards for an exciting 4 hours of Street Music, shopping, Longhorn cattle drive and a joyous luncheon dance at Second Rodeo Brewing on Mule Alley. Then make sure you stay for our fabulous finalé on Sunday, November 15 at Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium to experience "FROM THE SADDLE TO THE SYMPHONY" under the direction of Dave Alexander and his magnificent 65 piece "Birthplace of Western Swing Symphony."
